Concrete Finisher
This role focuses on finishing freshly poured concrete to create smooth, level, and durable surfaces for a wide range of commercial and industrial projects across the Denver Metro area.
Responsibilities- Spread and level freshly poured concrete using screeds, straight edges, and related tools to achieve accurate grades and profiles.
- Smooth and finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools such as trowels and floats to meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Cut joints and edges in concrete to control cracking and maintain clean, defined borders.
- Apply various finishes, including broom, stamped, or polished surfaces, based on project requirements and design plans.
- Monitor the concrete curing process to ensure proper strength development and overall surface quality.
- Work on a variety of concrete applications, including slabs, sidewalks, curbs, and foundations in commercial and industrial settings.
- Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment to complete flatwork and other concrete tasks safely and efficiently.
- At least 2 years of experience working as a concrete finisher.
- Proficiency in concrete finishing techniques for commercial and industrial projects.
- Ability to spread, level, and finish concrete using screeds, straight edges, hand trowels, and power trowels.
- Experience cutting control joints and edges to manage cracking and maintain structural integrity.
- Skill in applying different concrete finishes such as broom, stamped, and polished surfaces.
- Understanding of concrete curing processes and factors that affect strength and durability.
- Capability to perform flatwork, including slabs, sidewalks, curbs, and foundations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented construction environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience on commercial and industrial construction sites.
- Experience in flatwork projects and familiarity with foreman-led crews.
- Strong attention to detail to achieve high-quality, consistent finishes.
- Ability to adapt to different project types, including site work and varied surface finishes.
- Reliability and strong work ethic in outdoor construction environments.

You will use standard concrete finishing tools and equipment, including screeds, straight edges, hand trowels, and power trowels, while adhering to site safety practices and appropriate construction attire.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
