Mechanic qualified

Job Title

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ABF equipment as well as other assigned duties. Actual duties and schedule may vary depending on terminal location.

Experience:

• 2 years of verifiable Tractor/Trailer maintenance experience. (Other applicants with the proper vocational training will be considered.)

Additional Requirements:

• Good previous work and work attendance record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer company physical.
• Be available to work ANY SHIFT ANY DAY.
• Shift days and hours required for this position vary by location and may include days, nights, and/or weekends. Being able to work the required hours at this location will be considered a minimum requirement.

• Wages
  - Teamster or Machinist Union Scale.

• Sick Pay - 7 days per contract year.
• Holiday Pay - 8 to 14 days varying by contract.

Compensation:

• This is a hourly position paid weekly.

In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the starting hourly rate for this position is $32.52. This position offers union scale wages, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with no employee premium cost, retirement through a multi-employer pension fund, life insurance, 7 annual sick days, 8–14 paid holidays, and up to 5 weeks of vacation with long-term service.
