As a Drain Install Apprentice
, you’ll work alongside experienced drain and plumbing professionals to learn the trade from the ground up. You’ll assist with residential drain installations, sewer replacements, and underground work while building the skills needed to grow into a top technician.
This is a hands-on role for someone who isn’t afraid to get a little dirty, works hard, and wants to build a long-term career in the trades.
What You’ll Do:- Assist with residential drain and sewer line installations and replacements
- Support excavation, pipe laying, and back filling work
- Help with drain system upgrades and repairs
- Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Learn to read basic layouts, plans, and job scopes
- Communicate with team members and support technicians as needed
- 6+ months to 1 year of plumbing, drain, construction, or labor experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Comfortable working in trenches, tight spaces, and physically demanding environments
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor daily
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Basic tool knowledge is a plus
- Experience with drain or sewer work
- Exposure to excavation or underground utilities
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Desire to grow into a Drain Technician or Installer
