Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Install new HVAC systems and components according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and manufacturer specifications
- Connect systems to fuel and water supply lines, air ducts, and other components
- Install electrical wiring and controls to connect power supply
- Test installed equipment to verify proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system problems
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems
- Comply with all safety protocols and building codes
- Complete necessary documentation and service records
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- HVAC certification or technical training from an accredited institution
- 2+ years of hands‑on HVAC installation experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- EPA certification
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with both residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Additional trade certifications
- Experience with smart home technology and modern HVAC controls
- Basic computer skills for digital documentation
- Full‑time position
- Work in various weather conditions
- On‑call rotation may be required
- Travel within service area
- Both indoor and outdoor work environments
