Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Position Summary

Seeking a driven and motivated HVAC Technician to join our service team focusing on commissioning, repairing, and maintaining our equipment. This position involves diagnosing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC and ventilation systems at different sites. Field Service Technicians should be comfortable working in outside conditions and using ladders. The role includes extensive formalized training and mentorship to develop skills and enhance understanding of Captive Aire products.

The role encompasses a wide variety of tasks that differ daily, requiring customer interaction and collaboration across departments.

• Commissioning of new ventilation and HVAC equipment.
• Repair, replace, and troubleshoot existing HVAC equipment.
• Develop and maintain a service schedule.
• Prepare and submit job reports and invoices daily.

• HVAC / HVACR skill set desired.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
• Ability to read commercial wiring schematics.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and use power and hand tools.
• Must be safety‑minded.
• Work in outside conditions and tight spaces.
• Use of ladders for roof access.

$60,000 and up base pay, variable dependent on experience, with additional monthly bonus based on productivity and profits.
