Service Excellence HVAC/R Lead Technician – Denver, CO

Why this Role is ImportantHVAC replacement with ultra‑high efficient units is our newest initiative to save energy on customer sites. Your success in maintaining and optimizing these units is essential to the program’s success.
Responsibilities- Ensure continued exceptional operation of Budderfly HVAC units within assigned geographic area, including maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems.
- Identify maintenance risks on HVAC/R equipment.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC/R systems.
- Complete commissioning checks of HVAC units, including controller configuration and mechanical operation.
- Perform physical maintenance such as filter changes, coil cleaning, belt inspection/replacement and other mechanical failures.
- Respond to emergency service calls during nights, weekends and on‑call periods.
- Perform warranty services and repair work promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain daily logs and records in the company work‑order system.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state, federal and OSHA standards.
- Comply with service standards, work instructions and customer requirements.
- Assist customers with queries.
- 5+ years experience as a service technician on HVAC/R systems.
- Experience with HVAC controls, familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier System Vu controllers is a benefit.
- Ability to recognize control and mechanical issues before they compound.
- Enthusiastic about continuous learning, both technical and professional.
- Desire to grow professionally beyond routine maintenance.
- Desire to shape a developing team of HVAC/R technicians in the region.
- Customer and safety‑focused attitude.
- Ability to travel within Denver, CO and surrounding areas.
- Flexibility for on‑call duties, including nights and weekends.
