All Colorado Trucks and Trailers are seeking a full time Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our growing Denver, Colorado location. We provide sales and service for all truck and trailer needs. Our services include trailer repairs, mechanical repairs, electrical repairs, brakes, suspensions, welding & fabrication and so much more! The primary role of this position will be to repair or replace damaged parts to factory and dealership specifications.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Performing diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions
  • Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts
  • Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts
  • Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance
  • Completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment and brake checks
  • Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles
  • Interpreting work orders and diagnostic test results accurately
  • Writing detailed inspection reports and repair plans
  • Presenting reports and plans to clients for approval, advising clients on repair options and costs
  • Using power, machine, and hand tools safely
  • Following all motor vehicle repair shop regulations and standards
What you need to be successful:
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean MVR
  • Experience with diesel engine repair
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic math skills
