Technician I – Foundation TechnicianThis role focuses on installation, service, and preventative maintenance of beverage systems, ice machines, and food equipment. You will work in a structured travel‑based environment with a 12‑week development program.
Your First 12 Weeks: A Paid Investment in Your SuccessEvery technician begins in our Foundation Phase. It is a 12‑week structured training program with paid training, exposure to all major job types, classroom and field instruction, internal technical curriculum certification, and training to operate under the Barranco Standard.
The Tech Ladder:Performance Drives Pay
- Technician I → Technician II → Technician III
- Advancement is tied to skill validation, safety performance, technical competency, and field readiness.
- Most entrants become Tech III certified within 14 months.

If you have worked in refrigeration, HVAC, beverage systems, or commercial food equipment, you will not be treated like a rookie but will be expected to meet our standard.

- Ability to pass background check and drug screening (where permitted by law)
- Ability to travel for extended multi‑week rotations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Comfortable working on ladders and around commercial equipment
- Ability to work in active retail and restaurant environments
- Willingness to travel consistently as part of structured deployment schedules
- Ability to work flexible hours based on project demands
- Commitment to completing OSHA 10 within first 30 days
- Willingness to complete the 12‑week Foundation Phase in full
- Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, beverage systems, or food equipment
- Mechanical aptitude or prior trade exposure
- Basic electrical knowledge
- EPA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous travel‑based field service experience
