Seeking an experienced Commercial Glazier to perform and help lead commercial glass installation projects throughout the Denver Metro area. This role combines hands-on installation work with crew coordination and leadership in both shop and field environments.
Core Responsibilities- Install commercial storefronts, windows, peaked glass, storefront doors, and curtain wall systems.
- Prepare frames, anchors, flashing, and related components for installation.
- Set and align glass units to project specifications.
- Determine and coordinate appropriate lifting equipment (forklifts, glass manipulators, etc.).
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and project documents.
- Assign and coordinate work for installation crews.
- Perform caulking, sealing, and finishing work.
- Ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance on job sites.
- Coordinate with other trades and project stakeholders.
- Minimum 1 year of commercial glazing or closely related construction experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in glazing or carpentry.
- Ability to use construction tools and perform precise measurements.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Experience working from blueprints and installation drawings.
- Crew leadership experience supervising 2+ workers.
- Commercial new construction experience.
- Experience with:
- Storefront systems
- Curtain wall systems
- Storefront doors
- Peaked glass installations
- Experience operating or directing use of forklifts and glass manipulators.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Foreman, lead glazier, carpenter, or apprentice-to-journeyman progression preferred.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr.
