Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Maintenance Technicians focus on keeping our communities safe, functional, and welcoming. You will handle HVAC repairs, plumbing and electrical work, preventive maintenance, and general building repairs while delivering the “signature service” our residents expect.

• Perform HVAC repairs, plumbing and electrical installations, and general maintenance throughout the community.
• Respond on a rotational basis any day of the week, 52 weeks a year.
• Conduct unit inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs in both vacant and occupied apartments.
• Maintain overall appearance of the community’s shared spaces and ensure all properties meet Gables Standard.
• Work task‑oriented, punctual, and meet required deadlines for recurring community needs.

• Experience in building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related trades.
• Solution‑driven, effective at troubleshooting mechanical challenges.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional presence with residents.
• Committed to community appearance and standards.
• Flexible to work on call rotations and multiple shifts.

Hourly pay $24.00–$26.50 plus bonuses.
