Position: Electrical Foreman -

Colorado Lighting (CLI Services) is seeking a dedicated Electrical Project Foreman to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical project execution—ensuring alignment with company goals, timelines, and customer satisfaction. You will lead projects from initial planning through closeout, coordinating teams, materials, and schedules to ensure success.

Role Description

The Project Foreman – Electrical is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Denver, CO. This position oversees day‑to‑day electrical project activities, including coordinating/dispatching crews, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within scope. The foreman reviews plans and specifications, organizes & stages materials and equipment, and collaborates with project managers, clients, and inspectors to maintain clear communication and adherence to standards.

Daily responsibilities include supervising installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, operating and directing the use of heavy equipment as needed, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company procedures. The role also involves problem‑solving on the job site, providing guidance and training to team members, documenting project status, and contributing to continuous improvement of field operations.

Qualifications
  • Strong supervisory skills with experience leading field crews, assigning work, and ensuring quality and safety.
  • Proficiency with heavy equipment used in electrical construction and maintenance, including safe operation and oversight.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, project managers, clients, and inspectors.
  • Basic carpentry abilities to support electrical installations and related structural work as needed.
  • Maintenance skills in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and related infrastructure.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Previous experience as an electrical foreman or lead electrician on construction or service projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Computer software experience:
    Outlook, Excel, and/or dispatching software.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites within the Denver, CO area.

Electricians in the field must possess high physical stamina, strength, and agility, typically requiring the ability for overhead lifting, up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Daily tasks involve bending, kneeling, crouching, and crawling for extended periods while utilizing fine motor skills for wiring. Key physical requirements include:

Strength & Stamina

Frequently lifting, pulling and pushing materials (conduit cable) up to 50 lbs.

Manual Dexterity

Excellent hand‑eye coordination for delicate wiring, handling small objects, and using hand tools.

Mobility & Balance

Climbing ladders, scaffolding, and poles, along with crawling in tight spaces like crawlspaces or attics.

Visual Acuity & Color Vision

Ability to distinguish color‑coded wires (critical for safety and perform close‑up work.

Endurance

Standing or kneeling for long durations and working varied, often uncomfortable, weather conditions.
