Salary: $30.00-$42.00 per hour DOE.
Organizational IntroductionUnderground Infrastructure Technologies (UIT), LLC. is a full-service contractor specializing in trenchless technologies headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado. We provide wet and dry utility installations utilizing trenchless technologies to complete projects for departments of transportation, federal and state agencies, local municipalities, sewer and water districts as well as private development organizations. We have successfully completed projects for both public and private entities, with sizes ranging from 20 through 120 in diameter.
PositionSummary
We are looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to join our growing team. The Foreman is responsible for leading the jobsite and crew to ensure the job is completed safely, accurately and on time.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Take instructions for daily tasks from the Superintendent.
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and forklifts.
- Operate auger boring equipment; experience operating TBM, MTBM and Pipe Ram is considered a plus.
- Lead safety and toolbox meetings with crew.
- Ensure all work plans and JHAs are covered before tasks are started.
- Complete daily log of work performed.
- Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to ensure specifications are met.
- Supervise crew members.
- Perform safety inspections of work area.
- Train personnel as needed.
- Out-of-state travel may be required up to 30%.
- The majority of UITs work is in the Colorado Front Range area.
- Per diem starting after 75 miles from the Lakewood office.
- Minimum 5 years experience in utility construction.
- Ability to take direction from supervision.
- Experience with construction survey.
- Welding experience.
- OSHA training required.
- Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation.
- Recognize hazards and safety risks.
- Familiar with equipment and tools required for the position.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
- Work in a standing, sitting, or other physical positions.
- Supervisory experience.
- Salary $30.00 to $42.00 - DOE.
