Systems Installer I

Overview

The BMS Installer will complete small job installations, serving as an entry-level position that can progress into becoming a System Specialist with a commitment to on-the-job learning and studying control systems.

• Complete installations of control components following scope and/or job submittals.
• Interact with customers, service technicians, warehouse staff, and other team members.
• Make necessary changes to the Controls System as needed or requested.
• Assist in the parts ordering process.
• Conduct extensive self‑study (reading, research, practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in the company’s product lines.
• Complete certifications as required by the company.
• Compile job documentation such as certificates of completion, customer training forms, training certificates, and punch lists.

• Vocational school four‑year program graduate or an associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience servicing electronic control and HVAC equipment.
• Ability to coordinate the work of others on multiple job sites (preferred).
• Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other external contacts in an ethical and professional manner.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid California state motor vehicle license with a safe driving record.

Pay Rate: $24–$27 per hour (DOE).
