The Service Technician delivers exceptional customer service during scheduled maintenance appointments by inspecting for pest activity, providing effective treatment solutions, and building lasting customer relationships. This role helps ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication, attention to detail, and consistent service excellence.
Responsibilities- Perform interior and exterior pest control treatments using approved products and methods while following all safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
- Inspect properties for signs of pest activity, identify treatment needs, and recommend appropriate solutions to address customer concerns.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining treatments, answering questions, maintaining accurate service records, and communicating with the office as needed.
- Maintain company equipment, inventory, and vehicles to ensure operational readiness and service quality.
- Follow company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards while utilizing technology to manage appointments and service documentation.
- 1+ years of customer service experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have 3+ consecutive years of driving history as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of the role.
- Earn and maintain state‑required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).
Hourly base pay of $19.29, with additional compensation opportunities. Salary may vary based on sales.
Physical Demands and Working RequirementsCapable of regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting. Requires clear vision for close and distant tasks, with adjustable focus. Must be able to stand for long periods, perform physical tasks, and manage repetitive motions. Exposure to pesticides, chemicals, pests, mold, allergens, and structural hazards; safety gear required. Moderate noise level in the work environment.
