Inspect, diagnose, and repair asphalt plant components, including conveyor systems, shakers, screens, pumps, gearboxes, crushers, and burners;
Perform skilled mechanical repairs on diesel-powered mobile equipment (loaders, haul trucks, pavers) including engine rebuilds, transmission repairs, and the removal/installation of major mechanical parts;
Utilize cutting torches, welders (MIG/TIG/Stick), and grinders to perform field fabrication, structural repairs, and equipment modifications;
Execute scheduled PM services and lubrication protocols according to manufacturer specifications and Martin Marietta’s Maintenance Module;
Conduct oil sampling, filter changes, and pressure testing to identify potential failures before they occur
