Job Description & How to Apply Below
At UVeye, we're on a mission to redefine vehicle safety and reliability on a global scale. Founded in 2016, we have pioneered the world's first fully automated suite of vehicle inspection systems. At the heart of this innovation lies our advanced AI-centric technology, representing the pinnacle of computer vision, machine learning, and generative AI within the automotive sector.
With over $380M in funding and strategic partnerships with industry giants such as Toyota, Amazon, General Motors, Volvo, and Hertz, our technology is utilized in manufacturing plants, dealerships, wholesale auctions, delivery fleets, security checkpoints, and more. Our growing global team of over 250+ employees is committed to creating a workplace that celebrates diversity, encourages teamwork, and strives for excellence.
The Field Service Engineer (FSE) leads the installation, deployment, and ongoing service of UVeye's automated vehicle inspection systems at customer sites across the United States. As the primary on-site technical authority, the FSE executes installations, guides third-party contractors, troubleshoots technical issues, and ensures deployments meet engineering, safety, and quality standards.
This is a travel-intensive role (up to 90%) requiring frequent travel between customer locations, including dealerships, manufacturing plants, logistics hubs, and other operational environments.

Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service activities, proactively addressing issues to maximize system uptime and operational continuity. - Ensure Safe Execution:
Maintain compliance with safety standards and operational protocols, identify potential hazards, and enforce safe working practices for employees and contractors on-site. - Assess Sites and Execute Technical Plans:
Review site layouts, engineering drawings, and technical documentation using AutoCAD or similar tools. Identify and escalate discrepancies between planned and actual site conditions. - Own the On-Site Customer
Experience:
Serve as the primary technical point of contact during field activities, communicating clearly, managing expectations, and delivering a professional customer experience. - Collaborate and Document:
Maintain accurate installation and service documentation, escalate complex technical issues to Engineering, R&D, and Operations, and provide field insights that support continuous improvement.
