Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing facility in Denver, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled industrial maintenance professional with experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced production environment.

Working on a newly established 2nd shift, you will play a critical role in maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall plant operations. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated troubleshooter who can work independently while ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

2nd Shift

• Monday - Thursday
• 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM
• Overtime available as needed

• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, gearboxes, belts, chains, conveyors, valves, fillers, labelers, and sorting equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot photo-eye sensors, control systems, and 480V three-phase electrical equipment.
• Assist with PLC troubleshooting and equipment diagnostics.
• Maintain facility systems including compressors, boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and plumbing.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Perform inspections and document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Support continuous improvement, preventive maintenance, and reliability initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and plant maintenance standards.
• Work independently to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues.

• Experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
• Experience performing preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with:
• Motors, drives, belts, chains, and gearboxes
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Electrical control systems
• 480V three-phase electrical equipment
• PLC-controlled machinery
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience in food and beverage manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA-regulated production environments.
• Experience supporting high-speed automated production equipment.
• Prior experience with conveyors, packaging equipment, fillers, labelers, or automated manufacturing systems.
