Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing facility in Denver, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled industrial maintenance professional with experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced production environment.
Working on a newly established 2nd shift, you will play a critical role in maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall plant operations. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated troubleshooter who can work independently while ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Schedule2nd Shift
- Monday - Thursday
- 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM
- Overtime available as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, gearboxes, belts, chains, conveyors, valves, fillers, labelers, and sorting equipment.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot photo-eye sensors, control systems, and 480V three-phase electrical equipment.
- Assist with PLC troubleshooting and equipment diagnostics.
- Maintain facility systems including compressors, boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and plumbing.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Perform inspections and document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Support continuous improvement, preventive maintenance, and reliability initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and plant maintenance standards.
- Work independently to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
- Experience performing preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with:
- Motors, drives, belts, chains, and gearboxes
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Electrical control systems
- 480V three-phase electrical equipment
- PLC-controlled machinery
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Experience in food and beverage manufacturing.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA-regulated production environments.
- Experience supporting high-speed automated production equipment.
- Prior experience with conveyors, packaging equipment, fillers, labelers, or automated manufacturing systems.
