Cogent Communications is seeking a Fiber Technician in Denver, CO to join our field operations team. You will perform installation, turn-up, and testing of network elements across Cogent data centers and carrier-neutral facilities, while maintaining fiber networks and coordinating with contractors.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of telecom network experience, DWDM/IP network exposure, and proficiency with test equipment (OPM/OLS, OTDR, OSA, Ethernet testers). Travel ~30% is expected.
