Job Title
Journeyman Electrician
Compensation$32-$38/hour

Colorado licensed journeyman needed for electrical maintenance, service, and installation in existing commercial, industrial, and retail environments. Looking for a motivated, hard‑working person to service lighting and electrical systems.
The normal workday starts at 7:00 a.m. with 40+ hours; nights and weekends are required.
Requirements- Clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical ability and common sense.
- Ability to work independently.
- High standards for workmanship, work quality, and attention to detail.
- Pass pre‑employment background check and drug screen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand commercial building blueprints.
- Knowledge of commercial wiring methods.
- Ability to work with general contractors and other trades on the job.
- Advanced knowledge of EMT conduit and MC cable installation.
- Advanced knowledge of large commercial electrical service installation.
- Ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines.
- Can work at heights, lift, and conduct bucket work.
- Friendly and customer‑service minded.
- Proficient with hand tools.
- Willingness to work outdoors.
Electricians in the field must possess high physical stamina, strength, and agility, typically requiring overhead lifting, up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Daily tasks involve bending, kneeling, crouching, and crawling for extended periods while utilizing fine motor skills for wiring.
KeyPhysical Requirements
- Strength & Stamina – Frequently lifting, pulling, and pushing materials (conduit cable) up to 50 lbs.
- Manual Dexterity – Excellent hand‑eye coordination for delicate wiring, handling small objects, and using hand tools.
- Mobility & Balance – Climbing ladders, scaffolding, and poles, along with crawling in tight spaces such as crawlspaces or attics.
- Visual Acuity & Color Vision – Ability to distinguish color‑coded wires, critical for safety and close‑up work.
- Endurance – Standing or kneeling for long durations and working varied, often uncomfortable, weather conditions.
