Maintenance Technician II

Invitation Homes seeks a Maintenance Technician II to support quality single-family rental homes. Responsibilities include performing routine and emergency repairs, troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues, and completing work orders efficiently and safely. You will conduct inspections, identify preventative maintenance needs, and ensure homes are move-in ready and well maintained. The role partners closely with leasing and operations teams, vendors, and residents, delivering timely, professional service.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, corrective, and emergency maintenance on single-family rental homes
• Troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
• Complete, document, and close work orders using mobile or digital systems
• Conduct property inspections and identify preventative maintenance needs
• Prepare homes to be move-in ready, ensuring quality and safety standards
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs as needed
• Communicate professionally with residents, providing timely service updates
• Follow safety protocols, building codes, and company maintenance standards
• Collaborate with leasing and operations teams to support resident satisfaction
