We are seeking an Experienced HVAC Technician to serve and repair commercial HVAC package units on cell-tower sites. This fast-paced, rewarding role is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and eager to learn and grow in the telecommunications industry. The position is regional; candidates should reside in the Denver, Colorado area.
Core Responsibilities- Maintain commercial package cooling systems on cell-tower sites - diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or install and replace components of entire systems.
- Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call-outs.
- Submit timely and accurate daily work reports.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.
Core Experience- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
- Candidates should reside in the Denver, Colorado area.
- Must be available for after-hours and weekend call-outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnights required - company pays all travel costs and provides $50 per diem per night.
- Driving to remote work sites as needed.
- Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
- May need to pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). at $62,400 up to $115,000 annual salary/DOE. Employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation. A comprehensive benefits package includes health and life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and professional development courses. Base pay range: $30,000 - $43,000 USD.Benefits
