The Painting Subcontractor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Denver Metropolitan Area, responsible for completing high-quality interior and exterior painting projects for residential and commercial clients. Day-to-day tasks include surface preparation (washing, scraping, sanding, patching), priming and painting using brushes, rollers, and sprayers, and applying coatings according to project specifications and safety standards. The subcontractor coordinates with the project lead and site contacts, follows detailed work orders and schedules, and ensures job sites are clean, organized, and protected throughout the project.

The role involves accurate time and material tracking, adherence to safety and compliance requirements, and professional communication with clients and team members to support a consistent, reliable customer experience.

• Demonstrated experience with interior and exterior residential and commercial painting, including surface preparation, priming, and finish application.
• Proficiency with painting tools and equipment (brushes, rollers, sprayers, ladders, scaffolding) and proper use of PPE and safety practices.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, plans, and specifications, and to estimate materials and time for assigned tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, quality control, and job-site cleanliness, with a commitment to meeting project timelines.
• Professional, respectful communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with project leads, clients, and other subcontractors.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and capacity to travel to multiple job sites within the Denver Metropolitan Area.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working on ladders or scaffolding.
• Previous experience in property maintenance, construction, or related trades; familiarity with commercial, multi-family, or managed community projects is a plus.
