Role Description This full‑time Roofing Repair Technician role is an on‑site position based in Denver, CO. The Roofing Repair Technician inspects roofs for damage, identifies necessary repairs, and performs tasks such as replacing shingles, repairing leaks, sealing joints, and installing flashing. Daily responsibilities include using hand and power tools, following safety procedures, and working at heights in varying weather conditions. The role involves communicating with supervisors and team members, documenting completed work, and ensuring that repairs meet company quality standards and local building codes.
The technician may also assist with roof maintenance, cleanup of job sites, and occasional support on new roof installations.
Qualifications
- Experience with roofing repair, including shingle replacement, leak detection, flashing installation, and roof maintenance.
- Strong skills in using hand and power tools, measuring and cutting materials, and working safely at heights.
- Knowledge of roofing materials, basic construction practices, and local building and safety codes.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, site plans, and instructions with attention to detail and quality.
- Reliable physical stamina for lifting, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on safety and respect on the job site.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Denver area.
- Previous experience in roofing, construction, or a related trade preferred; relevant certifications or OSHA safety training are a plus.
