• Execute the installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization of commercial fire alarm, access control, intrusion alarm, and IP video systems
• Configure and set up fire alarm control panels and their related components
• Help ensure total site safety by verifying that fire alarm systems and components function correctly and meet all regulatory standards
• Set up access control hardware including card readers, door contacts, request-to-exit sensors, electric strikes, maglocks, and control panels
• Deploy and diagnose intrusion detection and IP video/CCTV hardware
• Manage the pulling, routing, terminating, labeling, and testing of low-voltage cabling
• Perform structural pathway tasks, such as drilling into concrete and minor conduit bending
• Support facility security by installing sensors and devices in commercial environments, including tasks requiring ladders or lifts
• Analyze and utilize blueprints, site maps, wiring diagrams, electrical layouts, and system schematics
• Help maintain system integrity by troubleshooting new and existing setups to resolve wiring, programming, communication, or equipment faults
• Validate and test systems to ensure they are fully operational before handing them over to the client
• Provide support for technical planning and pre-installation preparation
• Deliver technical escalation assistance both remotely and on-site
• Collaborate with Installation Team Leads and Project Managers to manage schedules, equipment, and project requirements
• Document all completed work accurately
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by ensuring installations adhere to local, state, federal, electrical, fire, and life-safety requirements
• Follow all safety protocols established by the company, the client, and OSHA

• Practical commercial field experience with one or more of the following:
  Fire alarm systems, Access control systems, Intrusion alarm systems, Electronic security systems, IP video / CCTV, or Commercial low-voltage systems
• Demonstrated ability to independently install, test, troubleshoot, and service low-voltage systems
