Pay: $24/hour
This position is eligible for Daily Pay. We’ve partnered with Daily Pay, a voluntary benefit to offer employees access to their pay on their own schedule.
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

JOB SUMMARY:
The Case Manager I, IMPACS (Improved Payments and Child Success Program) Employment Specialist will develop a plan with program participants to assist in obtaining employment and becoming self-sufficient. The Employment Specialist will assess the participant's education, work experience and barriers, provide counsel regarding occupational choices and opportunities, determine participant and family needs, assist with necessary paperwork and referrals to access wrap-around services, provide day-to-day case management, facilitate classes when needed, and view case management as a collaborative, strengths-based process to guide, support, and motivate participants through programming.
Arrange for supportive services as needed, provide referrals, and maintain knowledge of community partnerships and resources.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
IMPACS and Case Management:
- The Employment Specialist will assess and interview clients/noncustodial parents to obtain information for accurately assessing their situation; identify barriers to employment; assist clients to resolve barriers.
- Conduct interviews and assessments professionally, preserving rights and dignity; help recipients develop employment-focused plans and motivate clients to carry out their plans.
- Evaluate participant progress; conduct group orientations and instructional classes as required.
Employment Specialist Daily Duties:
- Determine participant and family needs; assist with necessary paperwork and referrals to wrap-around services.
- Provide day-to-day case management for program participants.
- Regularly scheduled check-ins; provide guidance, supportive services, resources, and referrals.
- Determine eligibility and job readiness; recommend programs and certifications to minimize barriers to employment.
- Provide program orientation, job readiness workshops, classes, and guidance on work history, education, interests, abilities, and other relevant information.
- Arrange for supportive services as needed; refer to job development when appropriate; provide service overview and benefits of program participation.

Processing, Tracking, and Reporting:
- Monitor and track attendance and progress at recommended classes and trainings; maintain complete files; maintain proficiency on automated data processing systems; provide information and keep accurate records of jobs obtained.
Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain positive professional relationships with customers, vendors, clients, and co-workers; attend meetings to strengthen community partnerships; communicate problems to management; serve on committees as needed; perform other duties as assigned.
Research and Industry Involvement:
- Research industry trends by reading trade journals and other sources; maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and materials relevant to the position; seek seminars and current software/tools; stay informed of Goodwill of Colorado policies and community resources.
