Salary Range: $55,497 – $59,572 + benefits

What you will do:- Provide advocacy, resources, safety planning, emergency assistance, case management, and support to victims/survivors of interpersonal violence
- Provide resources and referral information regarding judicial, legal, medical, law enforcement, therapeutic, and academic services available to victims/survivors of interpersonal violence
- Provide assistance to victims/survivors of interpersonal violence, including navigating and negotiating campus service areas such as academic and student affairs units, academic accommodations, escort and safety services, law enforcement investigations, Title IX/student conduct, discipline processes, and other related university policies
- Provide education and information regarding the dynamics of relationship violence, sexual violence, and stalking
- Assess immediate needs and provide appropriate referrals and warm handoffs
- Complete all necessary documentation up to and including inputting data into the case management system
- Assist the Assistant Director of Advocacy Services with training for and serve on the 24/7 helpline
- Other duties as assigned
- A bachelor’s degree in psychology, social science, student affairs, social work, gender and women’s studies, public health, human services, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- 1 year of demonstrated experience providing advocacy support, case management, and/or crisis intervention to survivors of interpersonal violence or trauma
- Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.
- 40+ hours of interpersonal violence victim advocacy training
- Demonstrated experience integrating theories of intersectionality and cultural competence in trauma response services
- Experience with training volunteers
- Bilingual (Spanish) fluency
