The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks an Assistant Property Manager to assist the Property Manager with day‑to‑day management of CCH managed property. This position is located at Concord Plaza and Loretto Heights in the Denver Metro area and reports to the Property Manager. A valid driver’s license is required but may be waived if the overall candidate experience and the needs of the business warrant.
EssentialJob Functions
- Ensures accurate and timely entries to property management software, including posting rent, processing applications and certifications, entering purchase orders and invoicing.
- Completes all certifications accurately and timely; maintains physical and electronic files to a high standard in accordance with RPMC policy.
- Adheres to Fair Housing laws, landlord laws, HOME, Section 42 Tax Credit, and HUD Section 8 Program compliance.
- Assists with supervision of site personnel, including interviewing, hiring, training, and enforcement of company policies.
- Maintains office and common area supplies; prepares accurate and timely reports.
- Conducts and tracks health and safety quality‑control inspections; monitors security events, maintenance issues, and problematic resident behavior.
- Attends and participates in scheduled meetings; maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Provides high‑level customer service and positive resident relations through effective communication.
- Distributes notices to residents as required.
- Fosters a respectful, inclusive, and cooperative work environment and promotes workforce diversity.
- Works collaboratively with supportive services and other CCH departments.
- Assists at other properties as required; assumes the duties of the Property Manager in case of vacancy, absence, or vacation.
- Completes all assigned training on time and performs other duties as assigned.
- Two years’ experience in affordable housing preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a real‑estate related field strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Section 42 Tax Credit, Section 8 Programs, and Equal Housing Opportunity laws preferred.
$22.89 – $28.61 per hour, depending on relevant years of experience.
