Employment Specialist
The St. Francis Center (SFC), established in June 1983, serves as a refuge for people experiencing homelessness in the metro Denver area. Our programs support adults through daytime shelter, social services, health and wellness, housing, employment, and outreach. At SFC, guests can access a variety of specialists to meet their individual needs, often the first step toward stability, transformation, and long-term self-sufficiency.
We are currently looking for an Employment Specialist. This is a Part-time position that could be combined with additional hours from another position to reach Full-Time status and be eligible for St. Francis Center's robust and generous benefits package, as outlined below.
Position OverviewThe Employment Specialist works closely with individuals enrolled in the employment program and seeking employment services. The Employment Specialist will also provide comprehensive services to address program participants' immediate needs and assist with planning for long-term self-sufficiency.
Primary Responsibilities$24.00 to $26.00/hour
This is a part-time, non-exempt position that is likely to include weekend hours.
The Part-Time position is eligible for:
- A robust pension plan (5% plus a dollar-for-dollar match of contributions up to 4% of earnings)
- 32 hours of sick leave and PTO
