As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a strategic leadership role in the architecture and development of modern, high-impact web applications. You will work hands-on with cutting-edge front-end technologies—especially React 19—while mentoring teams, defining technical direction, and driving engineering excellence across the organization.

You will lead the delivery of scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems, shape our design system and component architecture, and evolve our platform capabilities to support a diverse ecosystem of applications. You will also champion innovation, strong engineering culture, and continuous learning. • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance React 19 applications using modern component patterns, concurrent features, and optimized rendering flows.
• Innovate and craft clean code.
• Help lead and mitigate the impact of technical decisions across the entire product.
• Coordinate with Experience Design and software development teams across the department in designing and implementing pragmatic and best-fit solutions.
• Take ownership of vision and development of technologies, infrastructure, and common components across our tech stack.
• Build and optimize rich UI experiences using React 19 concurrent features and Type Script.
• Define and evolve design-system-driven component architecture.
• Drive front-end performance optimization, including React Compiler.
• Mentor other developers and teams; foster a community of practice across the development organization.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes ensuring high-quality product platform.
• Provide support for existing products and developing new products.
• Contribute to defining and enforcing procedures, standards, and methodologies related to software development.
• Troubleshoot code problems quickly and efficiently.
• Interact with customers to gather insights and translate technical concepts.
• Act as a role model and mentor other team members technically and culturally.
• Lead, join in, and shepherd teams through implementation goals, including fostering best practices in code creation.

• 5–10 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development using React or similar frameworks, Type Script, Web APIs, and modern application architectures.
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, able to diffuse tension and drive productive conversation internally and externally.
• Strategic problem solver with analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Innate curiosity about how things work; proactively acquires new skills and learns new tools and technologies to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Ability to define, communicate, and ensure adherence to quality/technical team standards.
• Comfortable making decisions across the product that support long-term maintainability, reuse, security, and performance.
• Ability to work with global, distributed teams.
• In-tune with high performance and high availability design/programming.
• Proficient with multiple database technologies.
• Strong in both design and implementation at an enterprise level.
• Ability to work with non-development departments to communicate with development teams.
• Clear communication to explain and defend design decisions.
• Mentor, lead, and direct multiple teams in implementation best practices.
