This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who translates complex data and workflows into intuitive interfaces, takes deep ownership of the full frontend lifecycle, and mentors others while delivering high‑impact work across our portfolio.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain highly performant, accessible, and responsive web applications using our core frontend stack and frameworks.
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of key UI components and design system elements, including long‑term strategy for performance optimization, cross‑browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
- Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
- Partner closely with UX designers and engineer leaders (Principals and Staff) to translate business requirements and design specs into polished, production‑ready interfaces.
- Champion a culture of quality by writing comprehensive unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests, leading code reviews, and advocating for best practices in accessibility and maintainability.

- Lead the response and resolution of frontend‑related production incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and drive the implementation of preventative measures at a systemic level.
- At least 7 years of experience in frontend software development with a consistent track record of delivering high‑quality, high‑impact work at scale.
- Deep proficiency in modern JavaScript/Type Script and the broader ecosystem, including build tooling, bundlers, and performance optimization.
- Expert‑level knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, and/or web components, with the ability to make and defend architectural choices between them.
- Experience designing, building, and evolving component libraries or design systems used across multiple teams or products.
- Strong command of RESTful and Graph

- Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines as they apply to frontend development workflows.
- Deep expertise in Datadog or equivalent tools for frontend monitoring, distributed tracing, logging, and observability.
- Mastery of web performance best practices, browser rendering pipelines, and accessibility (WCAG) standards — and the ability to evangelize these across the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions, influence cross‑functional stakeholders, and drive consensus on complex decisions.
- Experience working with AI and/or Spec Driven Development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
