Role: Technology Specialist – IT Service, Support and Operations | Reactive Programming | NodeJS
Location: Denver, Colorado (CO 80231)
Interview Process: Face-to-face interview required
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $50 - $55 Must Have Skills
- Java 17
- Spring Boot
- Type Script
- 8–10 years of experience in Java full stack development
- Strong expertise in Java 17 and Spring Boot
- Experience with Angular, Type Script, JavaScript, and HTML5/CSS3
- Experience designing and developing scalable enterprise-grade microservices
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and reactive programming
- Experience building high-throughput, low-latency transactional systems
- Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs
- Experience with asynchronous event-driven architectures using Kafka
- Knowledge of resilient application patterns including:
- Retry mechanisms
- Circuit breaker patterns
- Idempotency
- Caching
- Throttling
- Back pressure handling
- Experience with reactive and asynchronous programming models
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise-grade microservices using Java 17 and Spring Boot
- Build high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems for large-scale transactional workloads
- Develop RESTful APIs and asynchronous event-driven services using Kafka
- Implement resilient application design patterns such as retry, circuit breaker, idempotency, caching, throttling, and back pressure handling
- Work with reactive and asynchronous programming models where applicable
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application architecture and development
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support activities
