Senior Data Engineer

Transamerica is organized into three distinct businesses. These include
1) World Financial Group, including Transamerica Financial Advisors,
2) Protection Solutions and Savings & Investments, comprised of life insurance, annuities, employee benefits, retirement plans, and Transamerica Investment Solutions, and
3) Financial Assets, which includes legacy blocks of long term care, universal life, and variable and fixed annuities. These are supported by Transamerica Corporate, which includes Finance, People and Places, General Counsel, Risk, Internal Audit, Strategy and Development, and Corporate Affairs, which covers Communications, Brand, and Government and Policy Affairs.

- Work with ALM, Hedging, Risk, and other stakeholders.

- Navigate competing priorities; adapt to changing requirements.  - Four years of experience across data engineering, analytics, warehousing, BI, DB admin, integration.

- Two years Dev Ops/CI-CD experience.

- Practical experience with data warehousing and ETL development.

Creative thinker with strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Strong team collaboration and communication skills.

- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

- Experience with analytics, ML technologies.

- Experience with data visualization tools.

Programming experience (DBT, Python, Scala, Node.js).Snowflake experience.

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $95,000- $115,000 annually.
