Software Architect - Security & AI, Web Application Development

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Software Architect III to join their architecture and infrastructure team, designing and delivering secure, scalable platforms on AWS. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with EKS, serverless patterns, and infrastructure-as-code, paired with a security‑first mindset (least‑privilege IAM, automated vulnerability patching, encrypted‑by‑default). In this role you will work directly with the director of data platforms and principal dev leads to improve custom in‑house software solutions.

• Own the architecture for cloud‑native web applications from Terraform‑provisioned infrastructure and Git Lab CI/CD pipelines to AI‑powered integrations that accelerate developer productivity.
• Lead AI integration strategy evaluating and embedding LLM‑based tooling into internal workflows, building intelligent automation, and ensuring these capabilities ship with the same rigor as production software.

• Object‑oriented full‑stack programming (Java, Python, Go, etc.)
• Familiarity with full‑stack cloud‑based web application development, systems, and design

• Go programming and experience with multi‑threaded applications

Pay Range:
The approximate pay range for this position is between $70.00 and $80.00. The final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
