Job Overview

A Software Engineer at Litera, serving as a hybrid role based in Denver, CO. The role focuses on building LLM‑driven, machine‑executable solutions, ensuring safety, observability, and compliance, and delivering scalable, customer‑facing applications.

Hybrid position with a requirement to be in the office at least three days per week for collaboration.

• Translate product goals into LLM‑driven, machine‑executable instructions using structured prompting techniques
• Implement LLM safety, observability, and policy compliance (e.g., logging, red‑team testing, PII handling)
• Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable, customer‑facing applications and services
• Write clean, well‑documented, and extensible code aligned with engineering standards
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product Management and Quality Engineering
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle (refinement, coding, testing, deployment)
• Participate in Agile practices and continuously improve development processes and quality
• Manage task priorities, estimates, deadlines, and deliverables to meet performance expectations
• Ownership of multiple versions of data warehouse code for imports from various time and billing systems
• Own ways to scale existing code and modernize the platform

• 3–5 years of software development experience with strong C# and Type Script/JavaScript skills
• Experience with .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, SQL, and Entity Framework
• Proficiency in modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
• Experience with unit/integration testing frameworks and test coverage practices
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git‑based workflows, and Dev Ops tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub)
• Strong knowledge of backend development, APIs, and service‑oriented architecture
• Proven prompt engineering experience and strong written communication skills

• Experience with AI‑enabled development (e.g., Agentic AI tools, prompt orchestration, AI feature delivery)
• Cloud and containerization experience (Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) with a focus on secure, scalable design

The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000 USD. Additional compensation may include a company bonus plan.
