Our client is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer specializing in wireless, to help advance a new class of connected products built for demanding, real world environments. This is a high impact opportunity to shape firmware at the core of intelligent wireless devices, work closely with experienced technical leaders, and contribute to products where reliability, speed, and practical engineering matter every day.
For engineers who enjoy solving tough system level problems and seeing their work move quickly from concept to deployment, this role offers meaningful ownership and visibility.
- Work on advanced embedded products that rely on resilient wireless communication and real time performance.
- Join a growth stage team where engineers have direct influence on architecture, product quality, and release execution.
- Tackle technically challenging work across firmware, hardware interaction, networking behavior, and system validation.
- Collaborate with experienced engineering leadership in an environment that values initiative, curiosity, and sound decision making.
- Opportunity to help improve how connected devices perform in distributed, high demand use cases.
- Design, build, test, and maintain embedded software for wireless products operating in real time environments.
- Develop production quality Embedded C code for RTOS based systems running on microcontrollers, embedded processors, and wireless SoCs.
- Support software behavior across drivers, peripherals, protocol handling, timing sensitive workflows, and application level functionality.
- Contribute to wireless networking features involving node discovery, communication reliability, coordination across multiple devices, and overall system responsiveness.
- Investigate and resolve issues found in lab testing, validation cycles, integration efforts, and field scenarios.
- Improve software quality through logging, diagnostics, automation, scripting, and repeatable test methods.
- Work closely with hardware, systems, test, and product teams to deliver dependable releases.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning activities.
- Strong C programming experience in embedded environments.
- Hands on background with RTOS based development, including Zephyr, FreeRTOS, or related platforms.
- Experience with embedded interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, ADC, and common debugging workflows.
- Solid understanding of real time systems, concurrency, interrupts, timers, and memory constrained design.
- Experience working with embedded processors, microcontrollers, or wireless SoCs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across embedded firmware and hardware interaction.
- Background in wireless communications, networking protocols, mesh systems, telecom devices, or RF connected products is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to testing, automation, validation processes, and Python scripting is preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and operate effectively in a collaborative, fast moving engineering environment.
