We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our development team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot, hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services, and familiarity with Git Lab CI/CD. This role involves developing REST APIs, supporting cloud‑based applications, and contributing to modern Dev Ops workflows.
Required Skills- Strong experience with Java (preferably Java 21 or recent versions)
- Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of JSON and API integrations
- Basic front‑end skills: HTML, CSS, Java Script
- Experience with AWS (deployment and application support)
- Experience using Git/Git Lab for source control
- Experience with Git Lab CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Experience with Thymeleaf
- Hands‑on experience with Amazon ECS
- Hands‑on experience with API Gateway
- Hands‑on experience with DynamoDB
- Experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Experience using IntelliJ IDEA
- Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.
- Experience troubleshooting cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and production issues
- Understanding of secure coding and cloud security best practices
- Java SDK 21
