The role requires a hybrid schedule of three days per week in one of our Cincinnati, OH;
Atlanta, GA; or Denver, CO offices, or fully remote within the Greater Boston Area.
Senior Build and Release Engineer on an evolving Build Team, responsible for developing innovative fintech products, building core applications, and translating client requirements into technical specifications.
What You’ll Own- Maintain and improve a large‑scale build and test pipeline used by dozens of engineers
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot and fix pipeline issues
- Improve and upgrade pipeline components
- Build tools to support developers
- Troubleshoot build and deployment issues across environments (DEV, QA)
- Automate deployments and configuration management using Ansible or Puppet
- Collaborate with development and operations teams for seamless code integration and release
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience) and at least 5 years of related experience
- Strong software development experience
- Strong Java and scripting (Bash, Python) skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Solid knowledge of Git and Jenkins
- Strong Linux skills
- Ability to debug complex systems and work in unfamiliar codebases
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
- Working knowledge of SQL and databases
- Familiarity with Grafana, Ansible, and Git Hub Actions
