Software Engineers at Palantir build software at scale to transform how organizations around the world use data. As a Software Engineer Intern, you’ll contribute high‑quality code directly to Palantir Gotham, Palantir Foundry, or Palantir Apollo. You’ll create features used by research scientists, aerospace engineers, intelligence analysts, and economic forecasters worldwide. You’ll work in small teams focused on a specific product aspect, such as a Foundry front‑end application or a Gotham release‑infrastructure component.

• Collaborate closely with technical and non‑technical counterparts to understand customer problems and build products that solve them.
• Engage directly with users—tour manufacturing lines or sit with analysts—to deeply understand their mission and challenges.

  We work internally with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Reliability Engineers, and business development teams.

Our stack evolves constantly; we value engineers who can learn new languages quickly.

• Java and Go for backend, and Type Script for frontend.
• Open‑source technologies:
  Cassandra, Spark, Elasticsearch, React, and Redux.
• Industry‑standard build tooling:
  Gradle and Git Hub.

• Ability to communicate and collaborate with engineers, users, and non‑technical team members.
• Willingness to learn, make independent decisions, and ask questions when needed.
• Active US Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
• Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front‑end frameworks, and related technical tools.
• Experience coding in Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Must be planning on graduating in 2028; this should be your final internship before graduating.

The estimated salary range for this position is $10,500/month. Total compensation will be determined by qualifications, experience, and skills. This estimate excludes benefits and potential long‑term incentives.
