The iOS Home application is the heart of a secure and insightful home ecosystem. The team seeks a specialist designer to build the unified Home experience on iOS. Your work includes:

• Designing and implementing UI across the product.
• Writing foundational, handling and systems‑level code.
• Creating and maintaining data structures used by multiple Apple teams.
• Adding new features and refining existing ones.
• Ensuring optimal app performance, including quick live‑video start and fast access to recorded clips.
• Collaborating with iOS design, human‑interface, security, privacy, and other cross‑function teams.
• Driving a “best‑in‑class” home‑security video experience for users.

• Proficiency with Home Kit surveillance cameras and video handling.
• Strong programming skills in Swift and Objective‑C.
• 2+years of iOS development experience.
• Solid knowledge of video codecs and playback.
• Deep understanding of performance and threading across OS layers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Highly curious, creative problem‑solver, and meticulous to detail.

• Four‑year college degree in Computer Design, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in iOS development ending with 2+ years of work.
• Knowledge of Home Kit, video and codec architecture.
