Backend Developer, Senior Developer, Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer - Software
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Developer to join our dedicated Verification team as we embark on a ground‑up re‑architecture.
In collaboration with our UK teams, you will be enhancing and supporting our business‑critical Verification platform—from the delivery of real‑time facial‑recognition systems utilising innovative AI technology to core operational tooling. The platform is being re‑architected into Golang, React and cloud platforms, and the team has core skills in Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang and Type Script.
In collaboration with our UK teams, you will work alongside Technical Leads to design and implement robust verification systems, while ensuring the highest quality standards for our software products in a fast‑paced, hard‑working environment. Your leadership as a senior developer should set the standard for a talented group of developers, fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Salary: $125,000 – $155,000 annually.
Preferred Skills And Experience- Experience in leading development teams and delivering technical projects to successful completion.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring in technical subject areas.
- Ability to prioritize people and conversations over process.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced pressured environment.
- Commercial experience using Cloud Platforms.
- Knowledge of React and Type Script.
- Experience with Golang micro‑services.
- Exposure to C#, .NET, MSSQL and/or WPF.
- Serve as an escalation point for the team, both in and out of office hours.
- Lead and deliver the development of scalable, maintainable, and performant systems.
- Apply active governance around overall solution design, setting the standard for code quality and delivery within the team.
- Ensure solutions meet the needs of the business.
- Take responsibility for work estimation, produce solution documents, and ultimately ensure accurate portrayals of effort are obtained and subsequently delivered.
- Have or gain an in‑depth understanding of the technical structure, domain, and architecture the team is responsible for.
- Lead a small team of developers in the design and development of a solution from start to finish.
- Own technical solutions and their hands‑on delivery from development to live at low level.
