Cloud Software Quality Engineer – Denver, CO

We’re looking for a Cloud Software Quality Engineer to join our Fusion Analysis & Decision Effort (FADE) team. The role involves testing complex, evolving systems on AWS and edge devices, collaborating with engineers and end users to ensure high-quality software solutions.

• Deploy FADE software to multiple environments for testing.
• Perform manual testing to identify bugs and issues.
• Create and maintain automated tests for new and existing capabilities.
• Run automated tests before each software delivery to production.
• Collaborate with team members and end users to gather requirements.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues reported by users.
• Contribute ideas and participate in agile software engineering activities.
• Maintain and update test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Provide feedback on software design and implementation to improve quality.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of test environments.
• Document testing processes and results.

Required:

• Current Top Secret SCI clearance; polygraph preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years experience as a Software Tester or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (manual and automated).
• Familiarity with deployment environments and processes.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desired:

• Experience with JIRA, Git Lab, Kubernetes, Docker, Swagger, and test frameworks.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with FADE software applications.
• Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks.

$90,300 – $189,600 USD
