Office Acceptance Agent – Denver International Airport (DEN)

Air General, a third-generation, family-owned, national cargo handling company, is hiring full‑time Office Acceptance Agents at its Denver International Airport location. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring strict compliance with all safety and security protocols for cargo handling.

• Comply with all FAA, Airport, TSA, CBP, USDA, and Air General safety and security procedures and immediately report any discrepancies to a supervisor or manager.
• Handle phone calls professionally and courteously, and accept dangerous goods in accordance with FAA regulations and IATA DGR guidelines. Review and understand all documentation supporting a flight arrival or departure.
• Release import international freight after reviewing CBP clearances and authorizations, collecting air freight charges, and preparing freight transfer manifests.
• Monitor multiple email accounts and respond to customer inquiries.
• Provide customers with information concerning the status of their shipments.
• Reconcile Master and House waybills, as applicable, against ACE Customs systems.
• Handle, prepare, and manifest export flights for multiple carriers and cities.
• Data capture for export consignments.
• Verify booking details and request corrections where applicable.
• Prepare transfer manifests and notify accordingly for multiple carriers and cities.
• Transmit customs information for numerous airlines.
• Send arrival notices for international inbound shipments to multiple carriers and cities.
• Work independently and with a team to solve problems.
• Carry out any additional requests by the station and department management teams.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain a valid airport SIDA badge.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid and unexpired U.S. driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Candidates must possess intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office programs.
• Must be able to clearly understand and communicate in English when performing essential job functions.
• Must pass all pre‑employment screenings, background checks, and airport/government security checks, applicable Custom Security Seal, and post‑offer drug screens.
• Be available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to handle stress in a fast‑paced, high‑noise environment and meet deadlines.
• Some travel may be required for airline‑specific training.
