About This Role
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end movement of goods, ensuring that materials and products reach their destinations efficiently, safely, and cost‑effectively. The role acts as the "air traffic controller" for our supply chain, bridging the gap between suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to maintain a seamless flow of operations. This is a critical role in ensuring that our innovative data center and power generation projects remain on schedule and within budget.
100% onsite at our Denver Headquarters (255 Fillmore Street Denver, CO).
What you’ll work on- International freight support:
Assist in coordinating ocean, air, and multimodal shipments across global lanes; support freight forwarder relationships and help oversee LTL, heavy haul, and time‑critical deliveries from origin to project site. - Customs & trade compliance:
Support compliance efforts for import/export regulations, tariff classifications (HTS/HS codes), and country‑specific trade requirements; assist customs brokers in resolving holds, duties, and regulatory filings. - Import/export documentation:
Prepare and audit commercial invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export licenses; ensure accuracy for seamless customs clearance and three‑way match in Coupa. - Carrier & vendor support:
Maintain relationships with international carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers; monitor KPIs for safety, transit times, and cost; support OS&D resolution across global shipments. - Shipment visibility & risk monitoring:
Track international shipments proactively, flag port congestion, weather events, customs delays, and geopolitical disruptions; relay real‑time updates to project managers and stakeholders. - Inventory & material tracking:
Track equipment movements between international origins, warehouses, and project sites; reconcile physical counts against digital records; conduct receiving inspections and document damages with photographs. - Process & cost support:
Identify bottlenecks across global supply lanes; support process improvement efforts, audit freight invoices, and assist Accounting with financial reconciliation. - Emergency & on‑call response:
Support special‑circumstance logistics across time zones and participate in an on‑call rotation for critical after‑hours international supply chain emergencies.
- Experience &
Education:
2–4 years of dedicated experience in logistics, freight coordination, or supply chain, ideally within a technology or industrial environment. - Detail orientation:
High level of accuracy in managing shipping documentation and serialized inventory. - Technical aptitude:
Experience using ERP or procurement software (e.g., Coupa, SAP, or Oracle). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting. - Communication skills:
Ability to coordinate effectively with external carriers and internal engineering teams to resolve delivery issues. - Problem‑solving:
Proactive approach to troubleshooting carrier cancellations or transit delays in a fast‑paced environment. - Safety & compliance:
Commitment to maintaining safe working conditions and complying with all relevant logistics regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business.
- Familiarity with "white‑glove" shipping requirements for sensitive electronics or data center hardware.
- Previous experience in an "internal startup" or high‑growth technology environment.

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $87,000 – $100,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
