Responsibilities
- Vehicle check‑in by recording and filing information on vehicles assigned to the facility
- Detail vehicles to improve appearance and value (training provided)
- Operate passenger vehicles in a safe manner to move vehicles around the facility and during drive‑through auctions
- Recover keys, license plates, and other items from vehicles and store them appropriately
- Assist visitors and provide guidance to the appropriate personnel
- Train and develop operational skills on forklift and loader equipment
- Receive and release consigned equipment for auction (check‑in/check‑out)
- Use auction listings to line up equipment for display before auction
- Drive/operate heavy and light equipment
- Perform facility inspections using checklists and provide housekeeping or maintenance as needed
- Perform basic maintenance on company-owned equipment
- Manage equipment keys
- Operate forklift to load/unload stationary row equipment
- Assist with boosting equipment
- Perform basic assembly of equipment (e.g., dozer blades)
- Check fluid and fuel levels on equipment
- Lot number equipment
- Set out signage, flagging, and trash receptacles for auction day
- Drive sound truck
- Set "This item for sale" sign
- Place operators in rolling stock
- Park sold equipment on the ramp
- Apply appropriate security, maintenance, and safety procedures to protect company and customer assets
- Use personal protective equipment such as safety gloves and safety glasses
- Avoid accidents by recognizing unsafe situations and responding appropriately
- Follow industry-specific regulations related to hazardous materials
- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 lbs. constantly, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and occasionally over 100 lbs.
- Constantly reach outward, handle and finger objects, stand, walk, and sit
- Frequently bend, squat, kneel, twist, turn, climb, and crawl
- Work primarily outdoors in all types of weather
- Remain alert to potential hazards associated with heavy equipment and other vehicles in the work area

Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic automotive repair skills or experience in rental or construction area preferred
- Experience in equipment rental, construction, or related fields preferred
- Good customer service skills with both internal and external customers
- Upbeat demeanor to ensure positive customer interactions
- Teamwork orientation
