Freight Handler – 5am shift (Saturday‑Tuesday) – Denver, CO

Cross Country Freight Solutions (CCFS) provides quality service and on‑time delivery across the Western and Central United States.

We are hiring Freight Handlers responsible for loading and unloading freight from trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts. The role is safety‑sensitive and requires certified operation of safety equipment.

• Shift: 5am–3pm, Saturday‑Tuesday
• Pay: $24 per hour

• Safely load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts.
• Use handheld scanners to track and document freight.
• Accurately identify, sticker, and stage inbound freight.
• Verify the condition of freight to assure quality standards.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to frequently lift or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to ninety (90) pounds.
• At least six (6) months of verifiable forklift experience.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Successful completion of a pre‑employment skills assessment required.

• Frequent squatting and crouching to handle freight.
• Safely maneuver freight or pallets weighing up to two thousand five hundred (2,500) pounds onto a dolly or cart with a force of up to one hundred thirty (130) pounds using mechanical aid in various conditions.
• Carry freight weighing up to forty (40) pounds for a distance of up to twenty (20) feet.
• Help load and unload full trailers weighing up to forty‑five thousand (45,000) pounds with mechanical aid.
• Open and close cargo doors and climb in and out of vehicles.
