Driver - CDL Class B

Position Summary

The CDL Class B Driver will safely and efficiently deliver finished goods, products, and materials to customers in a timely, safe, and professional manner.

Location: Colorado

• Operate a semi‑truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
• Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes, obeying all traffic laws, and observing all safety regulations.
• Deftly maneuver the truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas following loading crew signals.
• Assist with loading of or load and unload goods and materials using specialized equipment when warranted; unload empty skids and return all equipment to the designated area.
• Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; deliver documentation to the shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete.
• Facilitate routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; report maintenance malfunctions to the Dispatcher and/or Garage.
• Arrange trailers in warehouse yards for optimum loading patterns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Must hold a required commercial driver’s license appropriate for the weight of the vehicle to be operated.
• A minimum of one year experience safely operating a Class B truck.
• Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state transportation regulations.
• All other duties assigned.

Work Environment

• Mostly outdoor position, subject to weather‑frequently.

Physical Demands

• Have the ability to repeatedly lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work in changing weather conditions.
• Ability to spend long periods of time on a forklift.
• Rare ability for non‑CDL driving.
