Driver - Denver

MT Transit, in partnership with the Regional Transportation District (RTD), is hiring Full‑Time, Non‑CDL Drivers in Denver, CO.

• Hourly rate: $26.50
• Monday–Friday shifts

• Provide safe, reliable transportation and demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Assist passengers with loading, unloading, and the use of mobility devices as required
• Ensure on‑time pick‑up and drop‑off of customers
• Complete vehicle pre‑trip, post‑trip, and DVI inspections
• Maintain thorough and accurate paperwork
• Use tablets or electronic devices for route planning and reporting
• Demonstrate understanding of FTA, ADA and DOT regulations

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain within 3 months
• Minimum of 2 years driving history
• No reckless driving incidents in the past 5 years
• No DUI or DWI convictions
• Pass a criminal background check and motor‑vehicle record check
• Pass DOT physical and pre‑employment drug/alcohol screening
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
• Resume with a minimum of 10 years work history

• Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two‑way radio or other electronic device
• Maintain high level of confidentiality
• Communicate clearly with others and comprehend instructions
• Understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests and schedules
• Knowledge of FTA, ADA and DOT regulations
• Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the service area
