Job description:

Fair Winds Logistics is an Amazon Delivery Partner that is hiring Delivery Driver Helpers to assist in the safe and efficient delivery of Amazon Extra Large (AMXL)  this role, you will work alongside the driver to help with loading, unloading, and ensuring that packages are delivered with care and efficiency. You will be riding in a DOT-regulated truck ranging from 16-26’ in length, contributing to the overall delivery process and customer satisfaction.

Shift availability

Work 4 days per week and up to 10 hours per day with shifts available seven days a week. Must be available weekends.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.

Must pass a 5-panel drug screen, as well as random testing.

Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Ability to work well with a team and follow instructions.

Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers.

Previous experience in delivery or logistics is a plus, but not required.

Able to operate a smartphone and GPS.Physically capable of:

Lifting 70lb without assistance, or up to 300 with team lift.

Climbing multiple flights of stairs while handling 70-300lb packages.

Walking up to 6 miles per day.

Key Responsibilities Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) packages.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections;
Communicate with dispatch to update delivery status

Interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner,providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional attitude.

Help deliver packages safely and on time Follow safety protocols and assist in ensuring a safe work environment.

Support the driver in maintaining the vehicle in good working condition and ensuring all deliveries are completed.
