Nitrogen Transport Driver

Covington, LA (ANS) - N2 purging & inerting

Airgas Nitrogen Services is hiring for Nitrogen Transport CDL Drivers. This role involves delivering liquid nitrogen to assigned customer locations and adhering to safety and DOT regulations.

• Safely deliver liquid nitrogen to assigned customer locations.
• Communicate daily with the district manager and field supervisor to ensure customer service levels and efficiency of operations.
• Embody the Airgas Nitrogen Services safety culture and adherence to DOT rules and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL with Haz Mat and Tanker Endorsements
• TWIC Card Required
• +1 year experience of tractor-trailer driving within the last four years
• +1 year experience of tanker experience
• Basic computer knowledge, i.e. operate cell phones and answer emails
• The ability to operate a manual transmission
• Right attitude and ability to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, two years technical college or military technical experience
• Forklift experience
• Basic knowledge of cryogenic pumps, tanks, transports, hydraulic equipment and diesel engines
• Bulk Tanker experience
• Knowledge of industrial gases
