Distribution Team – Equipment Operator (All Shifts)Performs warehouse tasks within the facility primarily without the use of Material Handling Equipment. Responsibilities include unloading, receiving, processing inbound shipments, bin replenishment, and preparing pick locations. Accurately picks, packs, sorts, and loads outbound products to meet customer specifications and ensure safe, accurate, on‑time completion.
Responsibilities- Unloads pallets and cases from inbound trailers or containers using a pallet jack.
- Accurately counts, verifies, and receives product using RF equipment or Voice Pick Technology; documents variances.
- Selects products and quantities as directed by Voice Pick Technology or RF scanner, placing items into totes on conveyor belt.
- Removes empty cartons from pick module as needed.
- Prepares sortation area, setting up pallets and carts for product.
- Moves cartons and totes from conveyor belts or rollers, placing them on pallets or carts according to assigned batch.
- Uses RF scanner to verify correct loading of totes, pallets, and carts onto trucks for delivery.
- Follows general sequencing and process procedures.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
- Follows safety policies and procedures; reports hazards to management.
- Conducts physical inventories as required.
- Counts and performs basic math calculations.
- Maintains productivity and quality standards.
- Performs additional duties as directed.
- General knowledge of basic topics (math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc.).
- Prior experience working in a warehouse/distribution center is a plus.
- Warehouse/Operations certification is a plus.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team environment and meet performance standards.
- Dependable and can report to work as scheduled with regular punctual attendance.
- Willingness to learn to use new material handling equipment.
- Willingness to learn WMS Technology.
- Ability to adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures for safety rules and requirements received in training.
